01. About these terms
These terms are an agreement between you and Aktivito Bilgi ve Teknoloji Hiz. A.S., a company based in Türkiye that operates Unfold: Papercraft Studio (“Unfold”, “we”, “us”). They apply to the Unfold app, this website, and the papercraft templates we provide. By using Unfold, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use Unfold.
Your use of the app is also governed by Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement, and App Store purchases are subject to the Apple Media Services terms. These terms add the details specific to Unfold memberships and templates. Our privacy policy explains how we handle personal information.
02. Using Unfold
Unfold is for makers of all ages. If you are under the age of majority where you live, a parent or guardian must review and agree to these terms for you, supervise your use, and is responsible for purchases made on your behalf.
An account is optional. If you create one, keep access to your email address or Apple Account secure, as you are responsible for activity on your account.
03. Membership & billing
Unfold offers monthly and annual auto-renewing memberships. Both include the full template catalog and in-app printing. The price and billing period are shown in the app, in your local currency, before you buy. There is no free trial.
Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase. Your membership renews automatically for the same period unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and your Apple Account is charged for the renewal within the 24 hours before the period ends. If the price changes, Apple will notify you and, where required, ask for your consent before renewing at the new price.
You can manage or cancel your membership at any time in your Apple Account subscription settings. Cancelling stops future renewals, and you keep access until the end of the period you’ve paid for. Deleting the app or your Unfold account doesn’t cancel your membership. Use Restore Purchases to regain access on another device signed in to the same Apple Account.
Apple handles billing and refund requests under its policies through Apple’s purchase support. Nothing in these terms limits a refund or consumer right you have by law.
04. Templates & licence
While your membership is active, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to view the templates in the app and print them using the app’s printing feature, so you can build papercraft models for your own personal, non-commercial use. You may keep the pages you’ve printed and the models you’ve built.
Unless we or the relevant rights holder give written permission, you may not copy, scan, export, share, or redistribute templates or printed sheets; sell templates, printed sheets, or models built from them; or use them for any commercial purpose. You are welcome to share photos of your own finished builds for non-commercial purposes.
The catalog changes over time. We add, update, and sometimes remove templates, and we don’t guarantee that a particular template will remain available.
The Unfold app, website, branding, and original content belong to us or our licensors. Third-party names, characters, and brands that appear in the catalog belong to their respective owners, and their appearance doesn’t mean those owners sponsor or endorse Unfold. If you believe something in Unfold infringes your rights, email us the details and we will review it promptly.
05. Fair use
Use Unfold lawfully and respect the rights of other people. Don’t interfere with the service, bypass membership or other access controls, scrape or bulk-extract content, distribute malicious software, or use Unfold to infringe intellectual property rights.
06. Printing & making safely
Printing requires a compatible AirPrint printer. Each template lists its paper size, and some templates need larger paper such as A3. Results vary with your printer, settings, paper, and materials, so check a template’s requirements and print a test page first.
Papercraft can involve sharp tools, glue, and small parts. Choose tools suitable for the maker’s age and ability, follow the tool manufacturer’s directions, protect your work surface, and provide adult supervision where needed. Paper models are decorative craft objects, not toys; keep small pieces and sharp tools away from young children and pets.
07. Availability & liability
We work to keep Unfold available and accurate, but we may update content or features and occasionally interrupt the service for maintenance. To the extent permitted by law, Unfold is provided “as is”, and we don’t promise that it will always be uninterrupted or error-free.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of Unfold. These terms don’t exclude or limit liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, and mandatory consumer protections continue to apply.
08. Ending use
You can stop using Unfold at any time and delete your account from Account → Delete account in the app. We may suspend or end access for anyone who seriously or repeatedly breaches these terms, as permitted by law. Cancelling an Apple subscription is done separately through your Apple Account.
09. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you may bring a claim in the courts available to you under those laws.
10. Changes & contact
We may update these terms as Unfold changes. We will post updates here with a revised date and, where required, give notice of material changes in the app or on this page before they take effect. If you continue to use Unfold after changes take effect, the updated terms apply.
